I watched a video with Peter Sunde of The Pirate Bay, and it made me think: Is the pirate bay really the problem?
I don't think so. I don't even think that the Internet is the problem for the record industry. It's just the means. The "problem" is the cheapness of the media. If I didn't have the Internet i would likely just pod slurp my friends. The internet is just a means of doing this easier.
We're human beings and we have an urge to connect. Sharing is connecting with your next. You can't stop this. Ever.
